Hunam is probably not the best place to go to for a Chinese dinner. There are definitely better chinese places out there. Their portions are HUGE, but I still think that I'm paying too much for something that is not so good. ...?

This is the best Chinese restaurant in town. It's so much better than Charlie's, Chinese 35, or Jade Palace. Dim Sum on Sundays is great as well. Highly recommended. ...?

No attention to detail. Food was no comparison to Hong Kong Buffet. The food lacked flavor and the employees were a joke. NOT PROFESSIONAL. Sorry to say I will not be patronizing this place again. ...?

Our Cantonese friends love this place. The food isn't spicy hot unless requested, particularly the hot & sour soup. For more authentic Chinese fare, ask them for the Chinese menu. Naturally, they get busy during Chinese New Year and the Moon ...?

I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance from eating here. I had been eating at this place for years when shellfish juice got in my vegetarian dinner. (As usual, I had ordered the eggplant & garlic sauce, told them absolutely no shellfish, and ate my dinner.) Since I am HIGHLY allergic, I had to be rushed to the hospital. When I went back to Hunam the next day to inform the manager, he was extremely rude and defensive. He told me that in his 22 years working there, no one had ever gotten sick, and to call his lawyer if I wanted a refund. Then he made me sign an order ticket (not even a document, just one of the tickets they take orders on) saying that I wouldn't order from them again or THEY WOULD SUE ME! They don't care about the customers. The food is decent, but when you get food poisoning, they won't own up to it. I have friends who have gotten sick there too. Be careful eating at Hunam.?

Really nice dim-sum. Unfortunately, they don't serve it the traditional way which is on a rolling cart but the flavor and freshness is way better than some of other dim-sum restaurants in the Triangle.?
